Habana at The LAB Anti-Mall launches weekly candlelight dinners with La Candela
Summer may be coming to an end, but Wednesday nights will continue to have a warm glow at at The LAB Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa. The Cuban restaurant has launched La Candela, featuring candlelight dinners every Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m., exclusively at the Costa Mesa location.

Patrons are welcomed to Habana with more than 600 candles that set the stage for a special dining experience in the dining room or garden patio. Perfect for a romantic mid-week date night or intimate dinner with friends, La Candela offers Habana’s regular menu in addition to special dishes such as stuffed tostones (tostones stuffed with ropa vieja, roasted pork and shrimp) for $18; sea bass à la plancha (pan-seared sea bass served with cilantro rice, buttered cauliflower and carrots, finished with a grilled pineapple relish) for $35; lomo saltado (stir-fry of beef, onion, tomatoes, bell pepper and fries, served with buttered flavorful rice) for $35, and for dessert, a banana fritter for $18.
Habana offers numerous cocktails that would pair well with La Candela, and recommends their Piña Colada, house-made sangria, or the Mojito 1995, which was named in honor of the year the restaurant opened.

La Candela is available every Wednesday night, only at Habana in The LAB Anti-Mall, St. in Costa Mesa. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner beginning at 11:30 a.m. on weekdays, as well as weekend brunch beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday
